Hi, I'm Simran Sachdeva

I am a Junior at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science with specialisation in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I strive to learn something new everyday, polish my skills, travel and surround myself with like minded people. I am an aspiring Full stack Data Scientist and interested in UIUX designing. I am a competent coder and invest majorly in the field of Machine Learning with subfield as GANs. When I'm not working, you might catch me plotting my next travel adventure, because what's life without a few extra stamps in your passport, right?

My aspiration as a Data Scientist is to provide digital solutions for real-life human and business problems utilizing my knowledge in AI and Machine Learning.

Open Source

I'm fairly new to the open source world, haven't notably contributed much yet although my target as an Open Source Programmer is to contribute in different competent projects and donate innovative ideas on real world entities which will benefit the community.

I am an Intermediate Data Science and Web Dev. I am currently gaining experience by buliding new projects as a part of my Club as well as side projects. I got introduced to programming during lockdown and now learning other languages and frameworks in college. I strive to improve myself and believe in the ideology of perseverance and result.

My Projects

CycleGAN implementation

A project involves the automatic training of image-to-image translation models without paired examples, hence trained in an unsupervised manner using a collection of images from the source and target domain that do not need to be related in any way.

Musical Time Machine

Uses beautiful soup 4 library to scrap data off of billboard top 100 website and automatically generates a playlist over spotify using spotipy api

Password Manager

Created a Password manager with python, The GUI was created with Tkinter. It stores passwords locally in a txt file and generates safe and secure passwords for you.
